A few weeks ago, I finally got work with my super talented photog sister, Jessica or as refer to her – Big Sis. The Insta-verse knows her as @bluehourblonde and you can check out her awesome site, bluehourblonde.com. She takes amazing pics so this was really exciting for me. Also, working with her sister (especially when you are knew to this) really made me more relaxed, and she definitely wasn’t afraid to “beat the awkward out of me” – that was my request because I’m typically extremely uncoordinated.

I wanted to feature two trends I was forecasting in my Fall Fashion Post I wrote about late last month. Since I’m currently obsessed with flannel, and I love that flares are back, it felt like a no brainer to feature both together! It also shows that flannel isn’t just for Sunday brunches or relaxing, tuck it in and add some great jeans to elevate your look for anything you want. You know, i’m all for making your wardrobe in multiple ways. I have even recently tucked in this same flannel into my Old Navy black skinny Pixie Pants, added a skinny belt and heels and worn it to work!

The flannel is of course from Old Navy. It was my third purchase from my September Challenge (you can read about the summary here). You can find the flannel here, and you can check out more in my Fall Fashion Post. P.S. I used a 40% off coupon code when I bought so I would suggest holding out for one! But $25 isn’t breaking the bank either.

The flares I have on are way old from Gap. In my Fall Fashion Post I outlined a bunch of different flares (and boot cuts) for you. Go check it out. Also, you may have noticed these necklace’s during the 30 Day Outfit Challenged. I never actually said where they came from but the bow is from Dogeared and the shamrock is from this Etsy shop! My sunnies are Marc by Marc Jacobs which you can find in this post – same with my Michael Kors watch! Finally, the shoes I borrowed from my sister. They are Kurt Geiger nude platform peep-toe wedges – I need some height for my flares. They are sold out, and right now, it’s almost impossible to find a comparable so come spring time I promise to find you some!!

Stay tuned because I hope to have more fall fashion outfits to come!

Peace out,

Wet Hair, Don’t Care
